Mission: The mission of the Pagan Pride Project is to foster pride in Pagan identity through education, activism, charity and community.  -As stated on the Pagan Pride website.
Purpose: The Pagan Pride Project is a non-profit organization. The primary purposes of this corporation shall be the advancement of religion and elimination of prejudice and discrimination based on religious beliefs. -As stated on the Pagan Pride website.
What is a Pagan? A Pagan or NeoPagan is someone who self-identifies as a Pagan, and whose spiritual or religious practice or belief fits into one or more of the following categories:

  1. Honoring, revering, or worshipping a Deity or Deities found in pre-Christian, classical, aboriginal, or tribal mythology;
    and/or
  2. Practicing religion or spirituality based upon shamanism, shamanic, or magickal practices;
    and/or
  3. Creating new religion based on past Pagan religions and/or futuristic views of society, community, and/or ecology;
    and/or
  4. Focusing religious or spiritual attention primarily on the Divine Feminine.

Craft fair!
Saturday July 21st Clearwater UU (the main event's site shown above). 9am-4pm.
Vendor craft fair and exhibits, readings, tarot and other stuff as it happens to happen, and food and beverages!


This is a FREE event for all but we will be accepting Love Donations to support Suncoast Pagan Pride Day 2007.

We will also be having a raffle at the picnic for 1/2 off admission to the Samhain 2007 Florida Pagan Gathering.

(The webmaster is a bit of a picnic affectionado and chowhound, and wishes to donate some comments here, so you know who to shoot if it wrankles...)
It is a POT LUCK, so bring your own everything, and a little extra for them what left something home- AND MAYBE ONE OF THEM DISPOSABLE CHEAPIE SALT AN PEPPER SHAKER sets... and a little ice would be nice. A few plastic ware knives and forks and spoons might help, and PLASTIC plates- not foam or paper- would be good to have. Serving tools are handy. People WILL show up and leave things home or not think of stuff, so too much is better than not enough. Chips are nice, but we seem to have quite a buffett of them showing up, so PLEASE bring things of substance. meats (and the charcoal to cook if raw), VEGETARIAN dishes, potato salads, baked beans, pasta stuff, assorted zuzu's, and of course a rope for the kids who are unattended... So we can tie them to the grill and cook them. Napkins and/or paper towels also are handy. Bug spray, sunburn stuff, basic first aid goodies are all useful for such an event. ICE, and something to drink- and possibly cups to pour it into all help.
